He later worked for several other companies, including Computervision Corporation and Microcomp, before starting his own venture in 1976. Nadar founded HCL Technologies, which was initially focused on manufacturing calculators and microprocessors. The company later shifted its focus to software development and IT services, becoming one of the largest IT services companies in India.
