Surbhi Jyoti was born on May 29, 1988, in Jalandhar, Punjab, India. She completed her schooling at Shiv Jyoti Public School and went on to pursue a degree in English Honours from Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya. She also has a Masters in English from Apeejay College of Fine Arts.


Career:

Surbhi Jyoti started her career as a radio jockey with 98.3 FM in Punjab. She then moved to Mumbai to pursue acting and landed her first role in the TV show Qubool Hai in 2012. Her portrayal of the character Zoya Farooqui in the show earned her critical acclaim and made her a household name.


After the success of Qubool Hai, Surbhi went on to appear in several other popular TV shows, including Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai, Ishqbaaz, and Naagin 3. She has also appeared in a few Punjabi films, including Raula Pai Gaya and Ik Kudi Punjab Di.
