Shivangi Joshi started her career in the entertainment industry with a small role in the television show "Khelti Hai Zindagi Aankh Micholi" in 2013. She then played the role of Poonam Thakur in the television series "Begusarai" in 2015. Later, she appeared in the lead role of Aayat Khan in the show "Beintehaa" in the same year.


However, she gained immense popularity with her portrayal of Naira Singhania in the television series "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" in 2016. The show has been one of the longest-running shows on Indian television, and Shivangi Joshi's performance as Naira has been widely appreciated. She has won several awards for her performance in the show, including the Best Actress Award at the Indian Telly Awards in 2018.
